SlutWalk Toronto: 2014

Today is SlutWalk Toronto. I’m not there for a whole hoax of reasons, but some day I will be.
I found myself thinking of the speech I gave at SlutWalk Winnipeg in 2012. There is so much more that I wish I could have said back then, and even more that I’d add to it now. But the fact still remains: There is No Such Thing as Implied Consent. (http://www.sherrie-lee.com/there-is-no-such-thing-as-implied-consent/)
To people in Toronto: I hope you know that you’re there for more than just yourselves and the people physically beside you. You’re there for me, and for Amanda Todd, and for countless people who have yet to share their story. You’re also there for the millions who will never have their stories shared.
